Consul General Shi Weiqiang Attends the Luncheon with the China-Friendly Group of Victorian Parliament

On June 5, Consul General Shi Weiqiang attended the luncheon with parliamentarians from the China-friendly group of Victorian Parliament in the Parliament House.

Both sides spoke positively of the China-Australia relations as well as the exchanges and cooperation between China and Victoria. Consul General Shi had in-depth communications with the parliamentarians on global financial crisis, economic and social development in China and China-Australia cooperation across the board, answered the questions raised by parliamentarians.

Consul General Shi appreciated the invitation by the China-friendly group of Victorian Parliament, welcomed parliamentarians to pay more visits to China so as to boost mutual understanding and deepen exchanges and cooperation. Deputy Consul General Huang Fengwen took part in the luncheon.
